Sweet december

It's been long. I know. Way to long. And I'm very very sorry. I mean it. But this year was crazy and full of new things that I just couldn't write. There were days, too many things happend to write down. And then there were days that I didn't want to write it all down. Too make a long story short: I'n back :). I miss writing and I will try to write again as much as I can.

A year in speed: I fell totally over my head in love, I lost and gained friends. Some I miss, some I don't. I made it to the second year of my school. I changed jobs. I started to do some modeling again. And most important: I'm goddamn happy!

It's a friday night in december, and it's freezing! Tonight I went over to my friend Ana, for a bit of wine and girlstalk about boys, money, school, jobs and clothes. Tomorrow the weekend starts, but too bad for me. It's a weekend full of work. Although I love my job, working in the weekends can be really hard. But that's life and I need money. In two days 'Sinterklaas' is happening here and I can't wait. Call me childish, but I just love all the Holidays in december. Exept the fact, that it costs a lot of money.

Tips: Although MTV has a lot of series you really shouldn't see. This is one you should. I'm sorry for being very commercial. But this show -I mean, if you're a girl- is amazing. Akward, is very addictive and the fact that I saw all the episodes of this season and I actually have to wait for a new season make's me insane. 

For the rest I'm reading the last part of Maggie Stiefvaters serie about Wolves. First there was 'Shiver', the second part 'Linger' brought me tears and the last part 'Forever' is extremly hard to put away. I'm in the middle now and every second I have a chance, I pick it up and read further. So if you like books like 'Twilight' and 'The vampire diaries'. This book will certainly not dissapoint you.

Man Down

School is done. It's time for summer. Although the dutch weather is nothing close like summer, I feel summer al through my body. And there is going to be work this summer, just the fact that there is no homework, deadlines, projects and presentations makes me goddamn happy :). 


One of my biggest addictions is Music. I need to listen music every day. If someone asks what my type of music is, it would be a hard question to answer. I think what's most important, is the lyrics. I just love it when a song touches me 'cause of the words. I also like it when the artist is someone who seems like a very strong person. Although there is not a type music that I listen too. I have my favorite artists. So is Rihanna one of them. I just love love her songs and her lyrics. She is artist with many types of music. And no song is ever the same as an other one. 


So is her new song; Man Down. When I saw the video, I thought I was going mental. I replayed it at least 5 times in row. This song is something totally new in the line of work she has done and I think it's just great. It's a nice summer song with a very dark edge. The video has the same feeling. It starts really raw and then it get's happy untill it goes back to very raw. Ow what I'm babbeling today -sorry for my wack writing, the weekend took a lot of energy- just check the video out for yourself . And love it, you should, if you don't love it. The Life Leoni 2.0

I am more then happy to introduce you to the comeback of the blog: The Life Leoni. After an absence of almost 6 months, I'm back. In the past, this blog was a very depressing and scary place. Well no more of that! 

Since september last year I started to go to college. After almost ten years of moddeling, I decided it was time for me, to use me brain again. Ever since then, I've been busy with finding inspiration and a new style of writing.

And now I'm back. This blog is not going to be a diary of  a broken heart anymore. This blog is going to be a mix of fashion, funny facts about life, news-items that I think are important to share and a lot of writing about my daily life. The stories of going back to school after not seeing a schoolbook for almost 5 years. 

I hope you guys are almost as exited as I am.
